CORE Reports for Mid-Term Proactive Advising

 Wednesday, October 17, 2018

 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

IAR Training Space - Kerr B094, Corvallis Campus

The quarter system makes proactive advising and targeted, timely, data-informed student success campaigns a challenge. Before you know it, it’s week 5 and you want to make sure students are on track, but how do you know where to start? Thankfully, a proactive advising workgroup identified several reports that make proactive interventions in the early, mid, and late part of the quarter a possibility. In this session, we will walk through how student success professionals can use CORE reports during the middle weeks of the term to connect with and support students in a more intentional and proactive way. Session will include where to find mid-term proactive advising reports and resources, how to run the reports, how to use Excel and mail merge to create and run your campaign, and how to track your results. Note: This workshop will require you to have a CORE security level of STU3 or above. Questions? Email: core.bic@oregonstate.edu
