In CORE, Ad Hoc Lite reports provide a powerful tool to query on a large student data set and build a variety of reports to suit your business needs. This session is designed to give employees in the STU3 or higher security levels an introduction to ad hoc lite reports, what they can do with these reports, how to use them and some common use cases. Note: This session is restricted to employees with an STU3 or higher CORE security level.

CORE provides a convenient interface to query data for common use cases that we encounter with Financial Data. What if you have an unusual data need though? This hands-on workshop will look at the basics of manipulating CORE data in Excel for common business functions. This includes how to split and join data, using VLOOKUP, sorting and more. Note: This session is restricted to employees with a FIN3 or higher security level in CORE.

The Cooperative Open Reporting Environment (CORE) is OSU's central tool for accessing official university reports and institutional data. All OSU employees have access to CORE reports and dashboards based on their employment classification and Job Profile. This session is designed to give new employees and CORE users an orientation to CORE including security and policies related to the access and use of data, how to find and save what you need from CORE, and helpful tips and tricks for interacting and using the system.
