What is happening?

  • Access to the legacy tool BI Query (Student Data Warehouse) will be turned off on March 31

  • Approved users will continue to have access to the Student Data Warehouse through Jaspersoft

  • All users who would like to retain or gain access to Jaspersoft will need to apply and be approved by the appropriate data steward

November — December: Transition prep

  • IAR gathers queries that need to be migrated to CORE
  • Consultations with BI Query users
  • Users submit Jaspersoft access request forms

  • OSU is transitioning to a new data warehouse tool, Jaspersoft, for student data. At this webinar, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the DW transition process, timeline and submit questions to be answered at the Data Warehouse Transition Public Forum on December 4, 2018.

  • OSU is transitioning to a new data warehouse tool and will be turning the Student BI Query Data Warehouse tool off on March 31st. At this open forum, Michael Hansen, IAR Executive Director and CDO, will share information about the process and answer any related questions.

  • Jaspersoft training and testing with approved users begins
  • IAR begins development of new and modified CORE reports to meet user needs for units that will not have access to Jaspersoft

  • BI Query tool is formally retired and disconnected from OSU data.
  • Jaspersoft is the new BI Query tool for student data at OSU
